Introduction & Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Dev
Ops Engineer to join our dynamic team at Volkswagen Financial Services. With over 5 years of experience in platform engineering and a deep understanding of
- based platforms, you will play a pivotal role in designing, automating, and securing our infrastructure. Your expertise with Red Hat, Kubernetes, Docker, and automation tools will drive innovation and improve our operational capabilities.

Main Responsibilities:

• Analyze and define platform requirements for VWFS applications.
• Plan, deploy, and configure Kubernetes Clusters and
  - based platforms.
• Design and implement automated software deployment and distribution processes.
• Perform containerization of applications and legacy systems.
• Implement security best practices for platform services.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure smooth
  - live transitions.
• Maintain system documentation and provide knowledge transfer to managed service providers.
  
  

Key Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Platform Engineering and container platforms.
• Experience in Red Hat, Kubernetes, Docker, and Java (Oracle, Open
  JDK, JBoss EAP/Tomcat).
• Automation skills with Ansible, Python, Bash, Power
  Shell, and YAML.
• Knowledge on Flux and Kustomizations, RBCS, Net
  Pols.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Bitbucket, Concourse, Ansible Automation Platform, Artifactory).
• Knowledge of ITIL v3 processes and service management frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with Load Balancers, TLS Certificates, Firewall Rules, Networking Zoning.
• Expertise in monitoring and logging tools like Dynatrace, Grafana.
• Ability to troubleshoot network and infrastructure issues in complex enterprise environments.
• Experience with Confluence and Jira.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
