We’re hiring an experienced Dev
Ops / Application Engineer to join the Amerisc team, responsible for powering market data and counterparty risk indicators used across trading floors.

You’ll work on the maintenance and evolution of the EEPE & CVA diffusion engines, support production environments, and help drive continuous improvement across our risk systems landscape.

? What do you need to be a SMART Dev
Ops Engineer?

• 7+ years of experience in software development or Dev
  Ops roles
• Strong experience with Java, and good knowledge of Shell and C++ in Unix environments
• Comfortable working with Sybase and SQL Server
• Solid understanding of CI/CD, TDD, and Agile methodologies
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming
• Understanding of runtime environments (processes, memory, performance)
• Experience with automation scripts and pipeline creation
• Familiarity with Dev
  Ops principles and production support
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and respond quickly to production incidents
• Experience with Hadoop or Big Data storage is a plus
• Good communication skills, collaborative mindset, and fluency in English

? What will your role be?

• Monitor and manage application releases while coordinating with IT Risks Business Analysts and management teams in Paris
• Maintain and evolve critical EEPE & CVA diffusion engines used for counterparty risk metrics
• Configure, monitor, and optimize production environments to ensure high availability and performance
• Develop scripts and tools to automate operational tasks and reduce manual workload
• Build, enhance, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery
• Work closely with development and operations teams in an Agile environment
• Provide production support, investigate bugs, and ensure quick and efficient resolution
• Contribute to evolutionary and corrective maintenance of Java, Shell, and C++ processes
• Ensure system reliability, scalability, and adherence to best Dev
  Ops practices

• Experience with Docker and containerized environments
• Knowledge of Control-M for job scheduling
• Background in financial risk systems or trading room environments
• Experience with Big Data (Hadoop ecosystem)
