About the Role

Your role within the Cloud Applications team will involve developing essential internal tools, maintaining and improving CI/CD platform, developing and maintaining umbrella helm charts, and introducing new technologies and innovative ideas. Additionally, you'll be responsible for troubleshooting issues as they arise. Furthermore, you'll periodically provide support, guidance, and training to the development department on how to effectively utilize our tools.

A third party will recruit, hire, and employ this position.

What You'll Be Doing

• You will be responsible for the management and optimization of the CI/CD process in the organization, ensuring seamless delivery.
• Manage
  - scale cloud infrastructure and services, optimizing for performance, stability, cost, and reliability.
• Mentor, inspire Dev
  Ops and Dev engineers, ensuring high performance and collaboration.
• Collaborate across teams to align Dev
  Ops and Dev activities with business objectives.
• Build and implement internal tools and automations with Golang and Python.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a Dev
  Ops or another technological engineer.
• Experience with K8S - Must.
• Experience with various CI/CD tools - Must (Circle
  CI, Argo
  CD - advantage).
• Experience with git version control and understanding of different codebase management strategies (monorepo vs
  - repos).
• Experience with Helm - Must.
• Vast experience with running a
  - scale operation on AWS.
• Experience with Terraform or similar IAAS tools - advantage.
• Experience with Istio service mesh - advantage.
• High analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency in programming/scripting languages (e. G. Golang, Bash, Python).
• Experience with monitoring/observability tools.
• Experience with critical production environments with high throughput.
