Devops (Java Experience)
As a Dev
Ops Engineer (Java Experience), you are responsible for building, maintaining and supporting tools, workflows, and building blocks that make it easier to develop software according to standards.
You’ll be at the forefront of innovation, working with newer technology, frameworks and platforms to drive impactful solutions and elevate systems and processes, including:
• Take technical ownership of systems, technology, or application areas, driving solution designs and mentoring colleagues.
• Participate in project breakdowns, platform development, and Agile processes, influencing direction and ensuring effective collaboration.
• Maintain continuous personal and professional development, with responsibility for
- improvement and knowledge sharing.
Platform Development / Capabilities
• Develop advanced integrations and
- service tools to optimize system efficiency.
• Create, maintain and support tooling to enhancing all aspects of the SDLC
• Support automated testing in build pipeline
• Driving the dialog of relentless improvement of the Dev
Ops product with their customers
• Assist with migrating legacy platforms to
- based solutions.
• Enhance CI/CD pipelines standardization and faster deployments.
• Principles, practical guidelines and training to developers and other stakeholders
Platform Ownership
• Own key platform components, ensuring stability, security, documentation, support, and a roadmap for continuous improvements.
• Communicating with developers to better understand their needs for the platform we are building
Technical Support
• Provide troubleshooting and support to other teams for
- related issues.
MVP Mindset
• Deliver small, iterative, and robust solutions with a focus on developer experience and continuous delivery.
Education and Knowledge Sharing
• Stay updated on technology trends, share knowledge within teams, and participate in relevant training and networks.
• Promote Git
Ops practices and actively contribute to workshops, hackathons, and learning sessions.
Resource Planning
• Proactively communicate timelines and plan tasks in alignment with team priorities.
Qualifications:
Must-Have:
• Strong
- on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git
Hub Actions, Argo Workflows/CD, Flux
• Must have proven programming experience ideally in Java or. NET, Python, Go
• Good understanding of Kubernetes and Containers
• Familiarity with build tools like Maven, Gradle
• Proficient communication skills in English
Good to Have:
• Proficiency with Ansible for infrastructure automation
• Virtual Machines experience
• Configuration Management
• Helm
• Experience with AWS, GCP or Azure
• Security tools, e. g. Snyk, dependabot
