We are looking for a Kubernetes Engineer who is willing to relocate to join our Client’s team in Braine-l’Alleud, Belgium.

Eligibility:

• Candidate must have resided in Portugal for at least the past 5 years.
• Portuguese citizenship is mandatory.
• Candidate must be prepared to obtain NATO or EU security clearance upon accepting the job offer (with Hexa coordination).

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage highly available, secure, and scalable Kubernetes clusters in on-premises or cloud environments.
• Containerize applications and support their deployment, focusing on performance and resource optimization.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (Ia
  C) using Terraform, Ansible, or Pulumi.
• Set up and maintain monitoring and logging using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack.
• Analyze and optimize cluster performance;
  
  identify and resolve system bottlenecks.
• Enforce Kubernetes security best practices and respond to incidents and vulnerabilities.
• Troubleshoot complex issues related to Kubernetes and containerized workloads.
• Collaborate closely with development, security, and operations teams to promote Dev
  Sec
  Ops and Git
  Ops practices.

Requirements

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years managing Kubernetes services in production environments.
• Proven experience in deploying and operating large-scale Kubernetes clusters.

Technical Skills:

• Containerization: Deep understanding of Docker, Podman, and orchestration principles.
• Ia
  C Tools: Proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, or Pulumi.
• Cloud Platforms: Hands-on with AWS (EKS), Azure (AKS), or GCP (GKE).
• Virtualization: Knowledge of VMware, Microsoft Hyper-V.
• Monitoring & Logging: Experienced with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack.
• CI/CD & Git
  Ops: Familiar with HELM, Argo
  CD, and Git
  Ops workflows.
• Storage: Working knowledge of S3, Min
  IO, Nooba, and
  - defined storage.
• Scripting: Strong skills in Bash or Python for automation tasks.
• Service Mesh: Experience with Istio or Linkerd.

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Comfortable working in agile environments.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in
