Role Description

As a Dev
Ops Manager in Platform Engineering, you will lead a team of engineers responsible for building and maintaining the foundational infrastructure, tooling, and internal platforms that empower our product development teams. You’ll manage day‑to‑day team operations, set technical direction, and drive impactful outcomes that support scalability, reliability, and efficiency of our engineering ecosystem. Reporting to the Senior Dev
Ops Manager, you will collaborate closely with engineering, security, and product to improve developer experience and operational maturity.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead and support a team focused on platform capabilities, infrastructure automation, and developer tooling.
• Mentor and develop engineers through regular feedback, coaching, and career development plans.
• Hire, onboard, and integrate new team members, ensuring alignment with company culture.
• Facilitate sprint planning, set clear priorities, and align with cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Drive delivery of projects and initiatives aligned with platform engineering strategy.
• Partner with other teams to manage technical dependencies, address blockers, and ensure project completion.
• Define and track operational metrics (e. g. , SLOs) to measure platform performance and reliability.
• Promote engineering best practices, including code quality, testing, observability, and security‑by‑design.
• Advocate for continuous improvement in engineering processes and team culture.

What You’ll Bring

• Proven experience managing engineering teams in platform, infrastructure, or Dev
  Ops domains.
• Excellent people‑leadership skills and a passion for building inclusive, high‑performing teams.
• Track record of leading workstreams that deliver measurable business value.
• Experience delivering scalable, reliable internal platforms or services that improve developer velocity.
• Technical background that supports architectural discussions, trade‑off evaluations, and informed decision‑making.
• Hands‑on experience with modern infrastructure tools: Kubernetes, cloud‑native platforms, CI/CD, observability, Ia
  C.
• Strong collaboration and communication across functional boundaries.
• Ownership, accountability, and a mindset of continuous improvement.
