Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Dev
Ops Engineer to join our team in maintaining and optimizing our cloud infrastructure, primarily on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) but also covering Azure and AWS. The ideal candidate will be deeply involved in orchestrating deployments, managing Kubernetes environments, and ensuring optimal performance of our databases, with a focus on Mongo
DB and other critical applications within our SIDIS suite.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.
• Support a hybrid setup that includes both cloud and on‑premise infrastructures.
• Manage and optimize container orchestration using Kubernetes, including deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications.
• Develop, manage, and fine‑tune Kubernetes environments for efficient deployment and scaling of applications.
• Implement and oversee CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and deployment processes.
• Install, configure, and manage Mongo
  DB clusters, including setting up sharding, indexing, and aggregation pipelines.
• Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues across all applications within the SIDIS suite.
• Maintain and optimize existing Go codebases, ensuring code quality and integration into our overall systems architecture.
• Work closely with the development teams to integrate API solutions and support backend services, enhancing SIDIS product features and capabilities.
• Implement and maintain security policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.

Skills and Qualifications

• Strong Experience in Cloud Platforms: Extensive experience with Google Cloud Platform, along with AWS and Azure.
• Expertise in Kubernetes and Docker: Profound knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies.
• Proficiency in Mongo
  DB Management: Deep understanding of Mongo
  DB operations such as sharding, indexing, and setting up in cloud and on‑premise environments.
• Solid Background in Dev
  Ops Practices: Familiarity with CI/CD tools, version control systems like GIT, and automation tools.
• Programming Skills: Competence in scripting languages like GO, Java Script and Python; knowledge of backend technologies like Node. js is a plus.
• Analytical and Problem‑Solving Skills: Ability to tackle complex problems and come up with strategic solutions driven by data.
• Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English, capable of collaborating effectively with cross‑functional teams.
