Mission and Vision of Sweat Foundation
Sweat Foundation’s Mission is to make the world healthier and wealthier by tracking, verifying and tokenising the value of your physical activity into a real financial asset – the $SWEAT token. Users receive and manage their $SWEAT and other crypto tokens in the mobile
- custodial crypto wallet app – Sweat Wallet. With more than 20M $SWEAT token holders and millions of active users in the Sweat Wallet app, Sweat Foundation created the largest on‑ramp into the web3/on‑chain world for crypto‑curious. Our partnership with Sweatcoin – one of the largest Health & Fitness apps in the world, the unique tokenomics of $SWEAT as a cornerstone of the emerging Movement Economy, and our focus on a sustainable business model at scale are some of the differentiators that position us to ride the biggest change happening in web3: the shift from infrastructure to consumer crypto.

What you will be working with
We are looking for a Dev
Ops / SRE who can quickly understand complex systems, find problems and fix them, optimise internal processes for rolling out new versions of code to production, developer experience and infrastructure provisioning. Currently, Sweat Foundation shares infrastructure and back‑end operations with the partner business running the health & fitness app – Sweatcoin. The mid‑term objective is to split this into two separate accounts and support operations of Sweat Foundation going forward. Sharded databases: Postgres and Redis, AWS, EKS for server applications, common Ruby on Rails monolithic app. Ansible and Terraform for configuration management.
What to expect
- We deploy several times a day. Basically, the backend team does everything themselves, but sometimes the deployment requires special infrastructure preparation or testing. Your job would be to accompany our developers with the delivery of code to production.
- We have the desire to automate everything, as far as possible. Builds, tests, deployments… the sky's the limit. We are looking for your implementation and optimisation of CI/CD processes in all internal products of the company.
- We value insightful, comprehensive monitoring data – essential for both critical incidents and smooth day‑to‑day operations.
- Proper operation of existing systems is cool. But taking part in the design and development of new company products is even cooler. We really need your opinion, experience and expertise when we create something new!
- “Automate routine tasks” – repeat it like a mantra! We should not force developers to memorise all the commands in the terminal and repeat them on a hundred machines.
Requirements
- Experience with AWS, GCP and Cloudflare providers.
- Ability to configure providers and their resources using Terraform and Ansible.
- Experience with Consul for quick configuration of applications, balancers and machines.
- Strong stack knowledge: Ruby on Rails, Postgre
SQL, Redis. - Our monitoring is based on classic solutions like ELK, Prometheus and Grafana. Must be able to quickly set up the collection of metrics from any system and display them.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to quickly respond to requests and problems.
- Critical and out‑of‑the‑box thinking.
- Simple, fast and clear engineering approach without overcomplicating the implementation.
What you will get in return
- Remote‑friendly & flexible working hours. Our core hours are 10:00–16:00 GMT.
- Unlimited PTO.
- Apple devices for work.
- Wellbeing program.
- Learning & development allowance.
- Health insurance allowance.
