We are seeking a Dev
Ops / SRE who can quickly understand complex systems, identify and resolve issues, optimize internal processes for deploying new code versions, and improve developer experience and infrastructure provisioning.
What you will be working with:
Currently, Sweat Foundation shares infrastructure with the partner business running the Sweatcoin app. Our
- term goal is to separate these into two accounts to support independent operations. Our infrastructure includes sharded databases (Postgre
SQL and Redis), AWS, EKS for server applications, a Ruby on Rails monolithic app, and configuration management tools like Ansible and Terraform.
What to expect:
- We deploy multiple times daily. Your role will involve supporting developers in deploying code to production, including infrastructure preparation and testing.
- Automation is a priority—building, testing, and deploying processes should be as automated as possible. You will implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines across all internal products.
- We value comprehensive monitoring data for incident management and daily operations.
- You will contribute to the design and development of new products, providing your expertise and insights.
- Automation of routine tasks is essential to reduce manual commands and repetitive work across multiple machines.
Requirements:
- Experience with AWS, GCP, and Cloudflare.
- Proficiency in configuring resources using Terraform and Ansible.
- Experience with quick configuration of applications, load balancers, and machines using Consul.
- Strong knowledge of Ruby on Rails, Postgre
SQL, and Redis. - Ability to set up metrics collection and visualization using ELK, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Excellent communication skills and responsiveness.
- Critical thinking and innovative
- solving skills. - A straightforward, efficient engineering approach without unnecessary complexity.
