Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Dev
Sec
Ops Engineer to join the IT Ops & Cloud team within the IT Ops & Security department. This role will focus on implementing and managing Security and Dev
Ops practices to streamline IT operations and software development, fostering collaboration and automation.

What will you be doing?

• Solid understanding of security concepts, including threat modeling, risk assessment, and vulnerability management.
• Experience with integrating security best practices at every stage of the SDLC.
• Manage and monitor the organisation's infrastructure, including provisioning, scaling, and maintaining bare metal servers, virtual machines, and cloud resources in MS Azure.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (Ia
  C) using tools like Ansible, Terraform, or similar.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes.
• Implement and manage monitoring and logging solutions to ensure system health and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure, applications, and deployments.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of Security & Dev
  Ops practices and toolchains.
• Stay current with the latest Dev
  Sec
  Ops /Devops technologies and trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience (3+ years) as a Dev
  Sec
  Ops/Dev
  Ops Engineer or in a similar role.
• Experience in Dev
  Sec
  Ops & Dev
  Ops principles and practices.
• Experience in MS Azure cloud platform and services.
• Experience with containerisation technologies (e. g. , Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with Ia
  C tools (e. g. , Terraform, Ansible).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e. g. , Git
  Lab CI, Jenkins, Azure Dev
  Ops).
• Experience with infrastructure monitoring tools (e. g. , Prometheus, Grafana and Datadog).
• Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash and Power
  Shell).
• Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.

Nice to have

• Relevant certifications such as ITIL v4 Foundation or higher, Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate or higher, Azure Dev
  Ops Engineer or higher.
• Experience with SQL Server and My
  SQL databases administration.
• Proficiency in information security principles, cybersecurity best practices, and frameworks (e. g. , ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, CIS Top Critical Security Controls).
