Job Description

We seek an experienced Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team. This role involves designing, implementing, managing, and maturing cybersecurity architecture, conducting audits and assessments, and supporting cybersecurity controls, risk, and incident management.

• Act as a primary cybersecurity contact and trusted advisor.
• Design and evolve cybersecurity architecture.
• Conduct audits, assessments, and vulnerability analyses.
• Align cybersecurity posture with standards and regulations.
• Implement and optimize security solutions and controls.
• Lead cybersecurity risk management processes.
• Develop and test incident response plans and support during incidents.
• Deploy and tune cybersecurity monitoring solutions and analyze alerts.
• Collaborate with IT and business units to integrate cybersecurity requirements.
• Create reports on findings, risks, and remediation.
• Deliver cybersecurity awareness training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Experience as a Cybersecurity Architect or Senior Engineer with strategic responsibilities.
• Hands-on experience with cybersecurity architecture, audits, vulnerability analysis, and securing Linux/Windows OS.
• Knowledge of secure
  - premise and cloud architectures, virtualization, IAM, risk and incident management.
• Familiarity with standards like ISO 27001/27701, NIST, CIS, SOC 2.
• Strong project management, reporting, and communication skills.
• Awareness of cybersecurity trends and threats.
• Experience in delivering cybersecurity training.
• Fluent in Portuguese and proficient in English.

Nice to Have

• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, Security+, CEH, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor.
• Experience with advanced security tools and cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of AI/ML applications and scripting languages (Python, Bash, Power
  Shell).
• Active participation in cybersecurity communities.
