DevSecOps Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain security controls to protect cloud environments from cyber threats, unauthorized access, data breaches, and other risks.
- Ensure all cloud migrations comply with organizational security policies and industry standards.
- Configure and manage
- native security tools (e. g. , Microsoft Defender, Entra ID, CSPM, Azure Policies). - Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, monitor for suspicious activity, and respond to security incidents.
- Automate security processes using tools such as Ansible and Terraform .
- Support and optimize CI/CD pipelines to embed security early in the development lifecycle.
- Monitor and secure containerized environments using
- time threat detection and image scanners. - Implement microsegmentation strategies (e. g. , NSX firewall with
- based rules). - Provide technical support, documentation, and best practices for internal teams.
- Stay informed about emerging cloud technologies and propose innovative solutions to enhance security and performance.
Required Experience & Skills:
- Minimum 5 years in IT , with at least 2 years focused on cloud security (Microsoft Azure) .
- Hands-on experience with Ansible , Terraform , and CI/CD pipelines .
- Proficiency in Microsoft Defender , Entra ID , and other Azure-native security tools.
- Familiarity with:
- CSPM (Cloud Security Posture Management)
- Container security (threat detection, image scanning)
- Azure policies and governance
- Application security in cloud environments
- Microsegmentation and NSX Firewall
- Understanding of Microsoft GSA is a plus.
- Knowledge of CIS hardening is desirable.
- Certifications in cloud technologies (preferably Microsoft Azure) are a strong plus.
