Mercedes-Benz. io builds digital solutions for Mercedes-Benz. We are looking for a Digital Analyst to shape data strategy, define tracking needs and deliver insights that drive business value.

Responsibilities

• Shape data strategy, define tracking needs and deliver insights that support informed decisions.
• Manage the full analytical workflow from exploring and preparing data to analyzing, validating and visualizing insights.
• Work autonomously with the analytics stack (Power BI, Google Analytics, Databricks) and relevant programming languages.
• Define business KPIs and measurement frameworks with stakeholders, ensuring clear tracking and documentation.
• Analyze
  - product data to uncover user behavior patterns and optimize customer journeys.
• Build dashboards, deliver KPI reporting and present insights to product teams and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Customer Insights to identify discrepancies and propose optimization strategies.
• Consult development teams on proper A/B test implementation and related tracking requirements.
• Lead and mentor internal and external Digital Analysts to ensure high‑quality analytics delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience with digital analytics – event/session‑level tracking, user flows and product behavior analysis.
• Data visualization skills – Power BI or similar.
• Strong SQL skills for raw data exploration and large datasets.
• Programming experience with Python/Py
  Spark/Pandas for data analysis.
• Practical statistics skills – designing before/after comparisons and working with significance and confidence levels.
• Hands‑on Digital Analyst experience solving real product and business problems.
• Strong communication, presentation and mentoring skills.
• Ability to work autonomously, manage priorities and handle ambiguity.
• Experience with A/B testing – setup, analysis, understanding variability and limitations.

Nice to Have

• Experience with GA4 and data
  Layer.
• Knowledge of ETL basics and data quality principles.
• Ability to optimize queries and aggregations for large datasets.
• Machine learning experience.
