Digital Commerce Activation & Optimization Lead
Position Summary
We are looking for a Digital Commerce Activation & Optimization Lead to join Nespresso Portugal. This role will develop and execute promotional and product launch activation plans to drive online sales performance. It leads the design and execution of customer journeys in collaboration with CRM and Marketing, ensuring alignment with audience insights and business goals, manages the operational planning of campaigns and product launches, and monitors business results, traffic, and sales evolution.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute activation plans to support product and promotions launches, aligned with business priorities.
- Co‑create multi‑channel campaigns with CRM and Marketing and coordinate cross‑functional execution and rollout with aligned messaging, assets and timings.
- Contribute to forecasts and ensure stakeholder alignment, monitor KPIs, react to trends, and advocate for investment when needed.
- Collaborate with Data & Performance to track and analyse results.
- Design and optimise seamless digital journeys for promotions and product launches – including desktop, mobile, and app.
- Lead A/B testing and continuous UX/UI improvements and ensure consistent messaging across all channels to maximise campaign effectiveness.
- Manage platform projects and new features/services rollouts and optimise digital products for growth.
- Develop and maintain digital operational plans for smooth execution.
- Submit clear briefs for campaigns and platform changes, track timelines, resolve issues, and ensure quality delivery.
- Lead weekly ops meetings to drive progress and improvements.
- Ensure flawless product and campaign launches.
- Coach and develop team members, set and track individual performance objectives.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of Digital Commerce or Marketing experience gained in a premium, lifestyle consumer goods environment (e. g. Food & Beverages, Cosmetics, Apparel and Accessories) or similar.
- Excellent knowledge of web analytics tools – Google Analytics 4.
- Detail‑oriented with exceptional project management, organisational skills, multitasking and time‑management capabilities – mandatory.
- Experience with agile work methodologies/PM (eg. Sprints, Kanban, Scrum) and tools (eg. Jira, Confluence) is a plus.
- Ability to collaborate with multiple, cross‑organisational partners and on multiple projects with strict deadlines.
- Proven proofreading skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent brand management and communication skills.
- Excellent oral & written communication skills in English.
