Overview

At VML, we are a global agency that blends creativity, technology, and people to deliver results for our clients. This role coordinates Microsoft’s digital events across global and local campaigns, acting as a project manager for internal VML resources, Microsoft stakeholders, and third‑party vendors.

Purpose

The Digital Events Coordinator plans, executes, and follows up on Microsoft’s digital events, ensuring alignment with corporate guidelines and delivering insights post‑event.

Responsibilities

• Consult and plan events, supporting internal stakeholders and external vendors.
• Act as project manager, coordinating resources, participants, assets, and schedules.
• Manage event assets (videos, presentations) and participant agendas.
• Execute events, provide chat moderation support, and manage post‑event agenda.
• Provide reporting and insights, and share best practices with stakeholders.

Required Skills & Competencies

• 4+ years of experience in marketing initiatives and 1‑2 years in events management or project/account management.
• Project management skills with readiness to assume responsibility for KPIs and meet critical deadlines.
• Strong command of Microsoft tools (Word, Excel, Power
  Point, Outlook, Teams) and the ability to communicate complex information clearly.
• Fluent English (additional language skills are a plus). Native speaker of German, French, Italian, or Spanish.
• High level of compliance with company rules & processes and detail‑oriented problem solving.

Location & Working Arrangement

Lisbon, Portugal. Hybrid approach – teams in the office average four days a week.
