Digital Operations Center Engineer at EDP

What you will do:

• Support 24x7 operations of the first line Digital Operations Center, ensuring SLA‑aligned response to incidents, service requests, and critical events in accordance with ITIL, ISO 20000, and ISO 27001.
• Communicate major incidents to strategic stakeholders with proper escalation and coordination of resources.
• Continuously update, review, and optimize operational playbooks for L1 teams.
• Manage and report IIMC operational indicators (response times, availability, performance, equipment status) for continuous improvement.
• Align processes, operations, and reporting with L2 team, CORE digital areas, E‑REDES asset management, and product owners.
• Monitor IIMC equipment lifecycle, including inventory management from commissioning to deactivation.

What we are looking for:

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in critical operation environments – monitoring, incident management, supervision of technological infrastructures, and support for field operational teams.
• Knowledge of ITIL, ISO 20000, and ISO 27001; certifications are an asset.
• Team player with strong stakeholder relationship skills.
• Proactive, structured problem solver.
• Analytical skills to support decision‑making.
• Excellent communication of technical and operational information.
• Organized and efficient at handling multiple simultaneous tasks.
• Initiative focused on achieving results.
• Ability to make informed decisions in complex situations.
