Cyncly is now embarking on an exciting journey as we continue to expand through strong organic growth and complementary acquisitions, backed by leading growth private equity firms specialized in technology.
Opened in 2025, our Lisbon Regional Operation Center has grown to over 50 employees within less than ten months, with ambitious plans to expand to 300 employees by 2027.
About the Role
As Cyncly grows, our People function is evolving to best support and enable our employees and managers globally. We aim to build a
- class shared services model that provides seamless support across all geographies. Our new Lisbon Regional Operating Center will serve as a central pillar for Global People Operations. We are seeking a visionary HR leader to develop and lead this global shared services team, drive excellence in People data and analytics, and enhance data capabilities across the People function.
Main Responsibilities
Global People Shared Services Leadership:
- Build, develop, and manage a
- performing global HR shared services team. - Foster a collaborative, inclusive culture focused on continuous improvement and global consistency.
Process Standardization & Service Delivery:
- Design and implement standardized, scalable HR processes across all Cyncly geographies that can be administered across countries and automated wherever possible e. g. absence, promotions, onboarding.
- Build global policies with the team that are underpinned with local processes as appropriate.
- Ensure a consistent and efficient employee experience globally, leveraging best practices.
- Use customer feedback data to assess satisfaction and drive continuous improvement.
- Drive the roadmap to further enhance our case management system Zendesk to better serve our employees, e. g. by building out
- service capabilities or tapping into AI capabilities.
Data & Analytics Leadership:
- Establish a robust People data and analytics framework, enabling
- driven
- making. - Lead the development of reporting capabilities and KPIs to measure HR effectiveness.
- Build data skills within the People team, fostering a culture of analytical thinking and
- based strategies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner with regional HR teams to ensure alignment and seamless integration of global processes.
- Collaborate with other departments, including finance, talent acquisition, and HR systems to optimize HR service delivery and data utilization.
Technology & Innovation:
- Leverage HR technologies and data platforms to streamline operations and enhance analytics.
- Stay current on HR tech innovations and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency.
Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure global HR practices comply with local labor laws and regulations.
- Mitigate risks by implementing data governance, audits, and best practices in People Operations.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in building and leading global operations teams, ideally in HR shared services.
- Experience of having built and developed a strong, remote team, ideally of HR Professionals.
- Strong expertise in People data, analytics, and reporting.
- Ability to develop data skills within a team and foster a
- driven culture. Global mindset with the ability to balance local needs and corporate objectives. - Tech-savvy with a
- oriented mindset. - Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment law across multiple geographies is highly valued.
- Fluent in English, with additional proficiency in Portuguese, French, Italian, German, or Spanish considered a key advantage.
