Define and lead Amgen’s global Responsible AI strategy, ensuring safe, explainable, and compliant AI deployment at scale. Build governance models and technical standards that shape how advanced AI—includingpredictive and agentic AI solutions—is used across the business. Collaborate with senior leaders in Data Science, Engineering, Legal, and Compliance to embed ethical AI practices into
- wide workflows. Serve as Amgen’s key interface to global regulators and AI policy influencers. Develop and monitor AI performance metrics, risk models, and incident response frameworks to ensure trust and transparency in every model we deploy. WINWhat we expect of you
We’re looking for a bold, visionary leader with deep technical fluency and a passion for shaping the future of AI. You combine strategic insight with

- world AI systems—and know how to lead teams to deliver both. Advanced degree (Ph
D, MSc, or equivalent) in Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field. 10+ years of experience in AI, data governance, or AI-related compliance roles, including 6+ years in leadership positions. Deep expertise in AI/ML models, including generative AI, and strong knowledge of global AI regulations (e. G. , EU AI Act, FDA AI guidance). Track record of building AI governance frameworks, from policy to implementation. Experience leading
