Job Summary
Works collaboratively with
- property sales channels to ensure sales efforts are coordinated, complementary, and not duplicative. Builds and strengthens relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings through activities such as sales calls, entertainment, FAM trips, trade shows, etc. Identifies new business to achieve personal and location revenue goals. Understands the overall market, including competitors' strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply, and demand, and knows how to sell against them.
Participates in sales calls with team members to acquire new business and close deals. Executes and supports operational aspects of booked business, such as generating proposals, writing contracts, and customer correspondence. Attends sales strategy meetings to provide input on weekly and overall sales strategies. Suggests innovative marketing ideas and develops deployment strategies to grow market share. Monitors the resolution of guest issues arising from the sales process by creating mechanisms to channel issues to property leadership or other stakeholders. Aims to increase revenues, control expenses, and provide a return on investment for the owner. Education/Professional Experience
- Specialized High School Degree or Bachelor Degree
- 3-5 years of previous experience in the role
Language Skills
- Excellent communication skills in Portuguese and English (mandatory)
