Job Summary
- Works collaboratively with
- property sales channels to ensure sales efforts are coordinated, complementary, and not duplicative. - Builds and strengthens relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings. Activities include sales calls, entertainment, FAM trips, trade shows, etc.
- Identifies new business to achieve personal and location revenue goals.
- Understands the overall market – competitors' strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply, and demand, etc. , and knows how to sell against them.
- Participates in sales calls with members of the sales team to acquire new business and/or close on business.
- Executes and supports the operational aspects of business booked (e. g. , generating proposals, writing contracts, customer correspondence).
- Attends sales strategy meetings to provide input on weekly and overall sales strategy.
- Suggests innovative marketing ideas and develops deployment strategies to continue to grow market share.
- Monitors the effective resolution of guest issues arising from the sales process by creating mechanisms to channel issues to property leadership and/or other stakeholders.
- Maintains successful performance by increasing revenues, controlling expenses, and providing a return on investment for the owner.
- Implements the brand's service strategy and applicable brand initiatives in all aspects of the sales process, focusing on building

- based customer relationships to achieve the hotel's sales objectives.
Requirements
- People-oriented leadership skills.
- Attention to detail and high organizational skills.
- Strong sense of responsibility and rigor.
Education/Professional Experience
- Specialized High School Degree or Bachelor Degree.
- 3-5 years previous experience in the function.
Language Skills
- Excellent communication skills in Portuguese and English (mandatory).
