An established British-style international college in Cascais is seeking an experienced Director of Studies to lead its academic team and ensure excellence in student outcomes, teaching quality, and university preparation.

This is a senior academic management position — ideal for someone with strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of post and
- 16 education (A Levels, IGCSEs ), and a genuine passion for helping students achieve their full potential.

• Oversee academic quality and student progress across Sixth Form and secondary programmes.
• Guide and mentor a team of tutors and academic advisors.
• Monitor performance, analyse data, and ensure effective intervention where needed.
• Support students with university and career applications (UK, US, EU).
• Promote student welfare and uphold safeguarding standards.
• Build a culture of academic curiosity, independence, and personal growth.

• Experience working with students aged 16–20 in an international or independent school setting.
• Proven academic leadership or pastoral management experience.
• Excellent organisational, communication, and IT skills.
• Fluent or
  - native English.
• Collaborative, proactive, and adaptable professional mindset.
