Summary
In the online travel industry, with
- changing user behavior and the increasing role played by price comparison websites, offering the best price grants disproportionate gains. Travelers choose Agoda because they are confident they can find the best hotels at the best prices.
Success can only be achieved by combining a programmatic approach to optimize volumes and margins in the short term with a strategic approach to respond to reactions from other players, including customers, hotels, competitors, and regulatory bodies.
We are looking for a senior leader to craft Agoda’s global strategic Pay-Per-Click strategy and execute it using various tactics and tools, from price display to machine learning algorithms.
This leader will coordinate with Agoda’s senior management, marketing, and product teams, while managing and expanding a team of talented pricing campaign managers and analysts.
What You Would Be Doing
- Work with C-level executives and internal stakeholders to craft a global pricing framework aligned with Agoda’s strategic priorities.
- Collaborate with the Product team to develop tools for executing and monitoring pricing actions and improving price display across channels.
- Coordinate with the Market Development team to gather price benchmarking data and respond to market moves from competitors and hotel partners.
- Design and deploy pricing strategies balancing
- term financial goals with
- term strategic objectives. - Manage a
- million dollar budget and provide transparency to internal stakeholders. - Lead, inspire, and expand a team of analysts and campaign managers through hiring and development.
What You Need to Be Good At to Succeed in This Role
- Experience in strategic articulation and negotiation with C-level executives; strategy consulting experience is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with a love for data.
- Ability to foster

- cultural cooperation. - Proven people management skills, including hiring and developing talent.
- P&L management experience.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and a

- done attitude. - Exposure to IT and Product Development; basic coding skills are advantageous.
