Role Overview
We are seeking DLP (Data Loss Prevention) Analysts to join our cybersecurity team in Porto. This role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about data protection, IT risk management, and cybersecurity. The DLP Analyst will be responsible for monitoring, investigating, and improving the efficiency of data loss prevention systems, ensuring the highest level of data security and compliance within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess DLP alerts generated by the system based on predefined Level 1 criteria across multiple environments.
- Analyze and review daily DLP events, escalating cases to Level 2 when deeper analysis is required.
- Investigate Level 2 alerts to confirm and assess potential data leakage incidents.
- Identify vulnerabilities and suggest improvements to enhance the DLP monitoring system’s efficiency.
- Collaborate with control managers to review detection rules and manage anomalies or false positives.
- Recommend best practices and assist in refining detection strategies to optimize DLP performance.
- Support testing and validation of new DLP policies and configurations.
- Coordinate policy updates and documentation for DLP processes.

- Manage onboarding and configuration of new entities or environments within the DLP platform.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or related fields.
- Up to 3 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT risk management, or data protection roles.
- Familiarity with DLP tools and monitoring systems (e. g. , Symantec, Forcepoint, Microsoft Purview DLP).
- Strong understanding of information security principles and data protection best practices.
- Analytical mindset with a strong focus on accuracy, detail, and continuous improvement.
Languages
- English: Expert (mandatory)
- French: Advanced (preferred)
