DLP Analyst (Junior)

Junior DLP Analyst

International cybersecurity team within the banking sector, based in Porto.

This role is part of a global initiative to strengthen data protection, compliance, and information security across the organization.

As a DLP (Data Loss Prevention) Analyst, you will play a key role in detecting, investigating, and preventing data leaks, contributing directly to the protection of sensitive information and digital assets.

Main Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess security events generated by DLP tools (Level 1 alert handling)
• Perform deeper investigations (Level 2) to confirm and assess potential data leaks
• Review and
  - tune DLP rules to reduce false positives and improve accuracy
• Collaborate with control managers and security stakeholders on incident response
• Suggest best practices based on alert typologies to enhance detection performance
• Produce weekly and monthly DLP dashboards and compliance reports
• Support the onboarding of new entities into the DLP platform

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
• Up to 2 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT risk, compliance, or data analysis
• Understanding of data protection principles and information security fundamentals
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Fluency in English (C1+) and French (B2 or higher)
