We are seeking a Deployment & Maintenance Buyer to join our innovative team as a #bloqstar. In this role, you'll ensure operational continuity, optimize costs, improve supply chain efficiency, support business growth, and ensure compliance through strategic procurement and supplier management.

This is a hybrid position, ideally based in Portugal, with options to work from our offices in Lisbon, Porto, Madrid, Milan, Brussels, Paris, or Amsterdam.

Responsibilities

1. Oversee sourcing and purchasing of tools, vehicles, spare parts, and service suppliers for deployment and maintenance across multiple countries.
2. Lead RFP processes, negotiate contracts, and build strong supplier relationships to meet quality, pricing, and SLA standards.
3. Manage procurement and contractual agreements for warehouse facilities, ensuring a reliable supply of essential parts and equipment.
4. Identify
   - saving opportunities while maintaining quality, optimizing supplier terms, and exploring alternative sourcing options.
5. Ensure timely procurement and maintenance of company vehicles for field operations.
6. Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, industry standards, and legal requirements.
7. Collaborate with operations, finance, and logistics teams to align strategies with business needs.
8. Monitor supplier performance and procurement metrics to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in procurement, supply chain, or similar roles, preferably in technical, logistics, or industrial environments.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Experience with RFP processes, vendor selection, and supplier relationship management.
• Knowledge of procurement best practices, cost analysis, and logistics.
• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent organizational and
  - solving skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Valued Skills

• Experience in startup or
  - growing environments.
• Familiarity with deployment and maintenance in the industrial sector.
• Experience evaluating supplier performance, ensuring compliance, and mitigating supply chain risks.
