Job Purpose
UNICEF Portugal is looking for a
- driven and creative professional to coordinate donor acquisition and reactivation campaigns that inspire people to support children.
As Donor Acquisition & Campaign Coordinator, you will lead
- channel campaigns across DRTV, cold outreach, lead conversion, and reactivation, designed to attract new supporters,
- engage past donors, and maximize the impact of every campaign.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Planning & Execution
- Develop, coordinate, and implement
- channel donor acquisition campaigns, including DRTV (Direct Response TV), cold outreach, digital lead conversion, and donor reactivation. - Ensure all campaigns align with fundraising goals, timelines, budgets, and organizational priorities.
- Coordinate with external vendors and internal teams to guarantee campaigns are delivered efficiently and on schedule.
- Maintain accurate project plans, campaign calendars, and performance tracking dashboards.
Briefing & Creative Alignment
- Partner with the Marketing team to translate fundraising goals into creative briefs and compelling campaign assets.
- Adapt content and messaging to ensure relevance across target audiences and specific channels.
- Review and approve campaign assets for clarity, brand consistency, and compliance with UNICEF’s guidelines and fundraising standards.
- Support the development of donor journey flows that connect acquisition and retention goals to ensure a continuous and engaging supporter experience.
Data Analysis & Optimization
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics (conversion rates, average gifts, donor acquisition costs, ROI).
- Conduct A/B tests on messaging, channels, and targeting to optimize campaign effectiveness.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of results, learnings, and performance trends for future campaign planning.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Integration
- Work closely with Donor Acquisition and Donor Success teams to ensure seamless donor experiences across the acquisition and retention lifecycle.
- Act as the operational bridge between Marketing, fundraising operations, and external partners.
- Share campaign insights and feedback with the team to strengthen strategy, storytelling, and segmentation.
- Support donor engagement initiatives and events that connect campaigns to broader supporter journeys.

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3–5 years of
- on experience in campaign management, fundraising, or direct marketing. - Additional training in digital acquisition, media planning, or fundraising is a plus.
- Solid understanding of direct response channels (DRTV, telemarketing, digital).
