The Dotnet
- stack Developer plays a crucial role in maintaining and ensuring the stability of our established Io
T platform. This platform, which powers our extensive network of over 400, 000 devices, is built using core Microsoft technologies, including C#, SQL Server, and ASP. NET.
This role offers the opportunity to work on a mature and complex system, contributing to its ongoing reliability and performance.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Full Stack Development: Focus on the ongoing maintenance, support, and enhancement of our existing Io
T platform, primarily utilizing C# and ASP. NET. - Full SDLC Management: Oversee the software development lifecycle for changes and updates to the platform, including developing, deploying, monitoring, and maintaining services.
- Database Management: Work primarily with SQL Server to manage and optimize the platform's relational database.
- Code and Design Reviews: Participate in design and code reviews.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with global,
- functional teams to optimize product designs for flexibility and efficiency. - Problem Solving: Troubleshoot, debug, and relentlessly prioritize to resolve complex issues within the legacy platform as needed.
- Adherence to Quality and Security Standards: Ensure compliance with the company’s quality procedures, standards, and security policies.
- Documentation: Create and maintain documentation related to the platform, including system architecture, code changes, and troubleshooting guides.
Requirements & Skills
Mandatory
- Experience in Full Stack Development: Proven experience in developing and maintaining applications using C# and ASP. NET framework (e. g. , Web Forms and/or MVC).
- Thrives in High-Growth Environments: Ability to excel in

- growth settings like startups. - Clean Code and Best Practices: Strong ability to write clean, maintainable code while following best practices and providing excellent test automation coverage.
- Dev
Ops and CI Tools: Experience with Dev
Ops tools and Continuous Integration (CI) systems (e. g. , Git, Azure Dev
Ops). - Cloud Computing: Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
- Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Solid SQL Server Skills: Deep understanding of SQL Server, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, and database optimization techniques.
- Strong Debugging and Troubleshooting Skills: Excellent ability to diagnose and resolve issues in a live production environment.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: A proactive and analytical approach to identifying and solving problems.
- Experience Maintaining Existing Systems: Demonstrated ability to work with and maintain existing, potentially complex, software systems.
- English Language: Advanced proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Experience with older versions of. NET Framework and ASP. NET.
- Familiarity with Io
T platforms and concepts. - Experience with monitoring and logging tools.
- Exposure to Dev
Ops practices and CI/CD pipelines. - Experience with unit testing and integration testing.
- Understanding of software design patterns relevant to maintaining existing systems.
