We are seeking a Downstream Process Engineer to support our process development and optimization efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Biological or Chemical Engineering.

Tasks

• Plan and support
  - scale trials to test DSP technologies for
  -
  - concept and process optimization.
• Develop analytical protocols to support pilot trials.
• Support the conceptual development and optimization of processes.
• Perform mass and energy balances to support
  - economic and LCA analyses.
• Develop mechanistic models of DSP units.

Requirements

• Degree in Biological or Chemical Engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in biotech or chemical industry (including academic experience).
• Experience with process simulation tools (e. g. , Aspen Plus, g
  PROMS) is a plus.
• Ability to bring structure and efficiency to a
  - paced startup environment.
• Hands-on personality, team spirit, and good
  - management.
• Passion for sustainability and growth in a startup setting.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
