Role Summary:

We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Teacher of Drama (Primary School) to join our KS2 team from November 2025. The successful candidate will be part of the
- college Performing Arts team, contributing to productions, performances, and creative projects across the school.

Key Responsabilities:

• Teach Drama across the Primary School, delivering engaging and imaginative lessons that build confidence, creativity, and collaboration.
• Contribute to the
  - college Performing Arts programme, supporting productions, plays, assemblies, and events.
• Use drama to nurture personal expression, communication skills, and teamwork among younger learners.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and adapting teaching to meet individual needs.
• Build strong relationships with parents and guardians through regular communication and feedback.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across year groups and departments to create enrichment opportunities.
• Promote the values and ethos of King's College, modelling professionalism, enthusiasm, and creativity.

The Ideal candidate must have:

• A degree in Drama, Performing Arts, or a related field, along with a recognised teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent).
• Proven experience teaching Drama at Primary level, ideally in an international or bilingual school.
• A genuine passion for Drama and the Performing Arts, with the ability to inspire and motivate young learners.
• Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility, adaptability, and a collaborative approach to working as part of a Performing Arts team.
• Commitment to nurturing creativity, confidence, and the holistic development of students.
