DTC E-Commerce Business Manager
About the role
You will take the lead in managing Karu , our newly launched performance alpaca sock brand, with the goal of building it into a sustainable,
- performing business. As the first dedicated owner of this brand, you’ll shape and execute its strategy, manage its
-
- day operations, and work closely with experts across marketing, supply chain, product, and finance to drive results. Over time, you may also take on additional brands or transition into a broader leadership role within our growing portfolio.

You will:
Take full accountability for the brand’s performance: P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow included.
Define and drive business strategies across customer acquisition, product development, and operational execution.
Collaborate closely with the performance marketing team to grow the customer base efficiently and sustainably.
Make effective decisions on channel presence, pricing, and product positioning in collaboration with marketing and leadership.
Shape the product strategy based on data, customer feedback, and business potential until a dedicated product lead is in place.
Oversee operational functions such as supply chain coordination, website management, basic tooling, and process improvements, taking on
- on execution where needed.
Monitor compliance with privacy, legal, and operational standards, proactively identifying and managing risks.
Act as the key point of accountability for the business, providing regular updates and collaborating across functions.

Experienced in running or growing a business or business unit, preferably in DTC
- commerce and a
- paced environment.
Well-versed in customer acquisition, growth strategy, product thinking, and business operations.
Confident in working with financial data, forecasts, and performance reporting.
Familiar with tools like CMS platforms, performance dashboards, and productivity suites.
Tech and
- savvy : you can get up to speed quickly on new platforms and concepts.
