About The Job

The Due Diligence Officer’s primary focus is to gather client data and documentation to construct a KYC (Know Your Client) file to support the due diligence assessment of prospective and existing clients.

Your Main Activities Are

1. Responsible for the preparation of onboarding and recertification of KYC process, such as understanding the purpose of each request and explaining the process to the client.
2. Ensure the onboarding and recertification requests are entered into the systems, creating ownership structures and listing related persons.
3. Conduct initial checks against internal data and databases to determine KYC information held within the bank and required documents to be shared with clients and stakeholders.
4. Manage information and documents, particularly obtaining data required according to the segment policy, collecting remaining documents from clients, performing analysis with existing documents, and updating systems with the corresponding data analysis.
5. Ensure the validation of all data according to internal procedures and guidelines, while ensuring due diligence regarding local requirements for
   - site clients is properly performed.

Profile And Skills To Success

1. Academic background in Law, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or similar areas.
2. Up to 2 years of experience in Legal, Compliance, Banking, and Financial Operations, or a similar role.
3. Fluency in English.
4. Ability to work effectively in a transversal environment and collaborate across different teams, departments, and clients.
5. Analytical capacity, attention to detail, and rigor.
6. Ability to adapt to a
   - paced environment, with fast learning and resilience skills.
