About the Company

I'm Daria, an artist/oil painter, and the founder of Daria Callie Studios (a foreign entity, though I currently live and work in Porto, Portugal). For the past nine years, I've dedicated myself to creating art, teaching, and inspiring others to build confidence in their own creativity.

Role

We're looking for a Video Editor / Creative Assistant - someone who's passionate about creative work and making captivating videos. You'll be responsible for editing video content for You
Tube and occasionally creating
- form clips such as Reels, You
Tube Shorts, or Tik
Toks from those videos.

Responsibilities:

• Content Production

Ensure every video feels polished and engaging. This includes:

• Reviewing footage and selecting the best takes for the final video.

• For painting
  - lapses: speeding up footage appropriately and cutting out unnecessary parts.

• Adding transitions, effects, and graphics to enhance the video and increase engagement.

• Editing
  - form videos into
  - form content for Reels, Shorts, and Tik
  Toks.

• Adding or reviewing video subtitles when needed.

• Creative Direction

Work closely with Daria to adapt content to the visual style and tone of the channel.

• Ensure all videos align with the aesthetic, vision, and creative direction.

• Collaboration

Receive and review feedback, apply revisions, and make improvements as necessary. Be part of a supportive creative collaboration.

• Performance Awareness

Review video performance and audience feedback to understand what resonates. Use these insights to adapt future videos and help grow the channel's creative strategy over time.

Requirements:

• Fluent in English and a clear communicator.
• Open and adaptive to feedback.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, with a passion for continuously improving your skills.
• Strong time management, able to meet deadlines and take initiative.

We're looking for a freelancer to work up to 20 hours per week. The work is remote, with a flexible schedule.
