As a subsidiary of The ENCODE Group, we perform the various design and engineering phases of a project:conceptual engineering, feasibility study, FEED, basic engineering, detail engineering and designandas built services.

Experiencing a fast growth period, we are looking for a passionate individual to play the role of Electrical Design Engineer to join our new team in Porto.

Experiencing a fast growth period, we are looking for a passionate individual Electrical Design Engineer to join our new team in Porto, Portugal.

YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT BY

• preparing project documentation on all phases, from Concept to Detail, lighting system, grounding and lightning installation, and wiring diagram
• using
  - aided design (CAD) software for 2D drafting and 3D
• attending meetings with clients together with PM, Engineering Manager
• performing department internal quality checks for documents prepared by other engineers or subcontractors
• site visiting when required (collecting site information, technical assistance)

Job Requirements

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• you have a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
• at least 5 years proven experience in electrical design and engineering - in industrial, oil and gas field
• knowledge of the concepts, practices, procedures, and regulations for designing electrical installations and protective systems used in potentially explosive atmospheres
• good knowledge of using electrical calculation software such as ETAP, E-Plan, DIALux or similar
• experience in using and applying international standards and norms
• abilities in using Microsoft Office package
• proactive,
  - motivated, and hands on approach to work
• professional proficiency in English
• willing to travel
