CTS Group SA is looking for an experienced, innovative, and resourceful professional to join our team in our office in Lisbon. This position is a
- time position.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering;

Juniors – Minimum 3 years.

Intermediate- Minimum 5 years.

Senior – Minimum 8 years with 2+ years of work experience leading the design of data centers or other comparable
- critical infrastructure.

Preferably Proficient or Knowledge in some of the following software’s:

ETAP – for power systems modeling and analysis.

EPLAN – for electrical schematic and control panel design.

Revit – for BIM modeling and coordination.

DIALux – for lighting simulation and design.

Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards (e. g. , NEC, IEC, IEEE, NFPA 70E).

Familiarity with Tier classifications (Uptime Institute) and redundancy concepts (N, N+1, 2N).

Excellent
- solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Ability to work on multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Experience in
- critical environments (e. g. , data centers, telecom, hospitals).

Exposure to HV/MV substations, switchgear layouts, and BMS integration.

Knowledge of digital twin concepts or energy monitoring systems is a plus.

Proficiency in English is mandatory. Other Languages are also a plus.

We are looking for someone who:

Design and develop electrical systems for
- critical data centers, including power distribution, grounding, lighting, and standby power.

Create and manage detailed
- line diagrams, schematics, and panel schedules using EPLAN and Revit.

Perform power system analysis (short circuit, load flow, arc flash, protection coordination) using ETAP.

Develop and validate lighting and emergency lighting designs using DIALux.

Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, civil, architectural) to ensure accurate integration of electrical systems into data center designs.

Participate in peer design reviews, and ensure adherence to industry standards (IEC, IEEE, NEC, etc. ).

Prepare detailed design documentation, specifications, and BOQs.

Support commissioning teams and respond to RFIs during construction phases.

Maintain compliance with local electrical codes and global data center design standards.

Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices in data center power systems.

Interact with design partners from other engineering disciplines.
