Your Responsabilities

Development of protection automation and control (PAC) algorithms and applications for Power Systems:

Modelling and simulation of realistic power systems;

Design of PAC algorithms with focus on full digital substation automation system environment;

Validationand simulation of the behavior of the PAC systems in a virtual environment Matlab / Simscape Electrical / Simulink;

Definitionof the
HW requirements necessary to support the algorithms and applications;

Develop software (C/C++) for real time embedded systems:

Architectural design and development of PAC algorithms and applications in real time embedded devices;

Embedded systems resources constraints management with an application focus;

Participatein the complete development cycle, including design, implementation and testing;

Be part ofan R&Dteam working in a collaborative, informal and dynamic environment.

Your Profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering with major or minor in Power Systems;
  
  
  
  
• Knowledgeof energy systems organization and operation;
  
  
  
  
• Knowledgeand motivation in protection, automation and control of energy systems;
  
  
  
  
• C/C++ programming skills;
  
  
  
  
• Knowledgein Matlab / Simscape Electrical / Simulink simulation environments;
  
  
  
  
• Power system/ Energy major or attendance;
  
  
  
  
• Knowledgeof embedded systems;
  
  
  
  
• Familiarity with multithreading concepts;
  
  
  
  
• Knowledgeof DSP and FPGA;
  
  
  
  
• Knowledgeof communication technologies;
  
  
  
  
• Knowledgeof Linux (basic level);
  
  
  
  
• Knowledgeof power systems;
  
  
  
  
• Understanding of basic electronics and laboratory instrumentation;
  
  
  
  
• Experience using version control systems (SVN, GIT).
