Our Operations & Service Business Line seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to support projects within the Construction scope. These projects are located in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. The Electrical Engineer's responsibilities include:
- Providing technical support during various project stages (development, bidding, and construction).
- Analyzing technical information such as RFPs, RFQs, and tenders to evaluate impacts on electrical design.
- Proposing solutions for optimization considering technical and economic factors.
- Assessing energy yield using simulation software like PVsyst, following guidelines from the Solar Competence Center.
- Analyzing meteorological data and estimating gross and net production over required time frames.
- Developing electrical diagrams (Single Line Diagrams – SLD).
- Preparing Bills of Quantities and technical documents (including drawings and O&M dossiers).
- Creating technical descriptions, calculations, specifications, and drawings for licensing, EPC, and execution phases.
- Performing executive designs related to electrical systems.
- Providing technical support during construction and preparing As Built documentation.
- Assessing site conditions and supporting site surveys.
- Analyzing grid code requirements and power system inputs from the team.
- Studying capacity and site constraints in collaboration with the Civil Team.
- Contributing to CAD designs and monitoring their progress.
- Supporting the development of preliminary layouts and reviewing electrical drawings.
- Investigating alternative engineering solutions for project optimization.
- Reviewing external service providers' designs and calculations.
- Conducting market analysis on electrical solutions.
- Maintaining communication with suppliers regarding technical solutions and infrastructure arrangements.
Qualifications & Experiences:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electrotechnical Engineering, with specialization in Energy Systems a plus.
- At least 5 years of experience in renewable projects, preferably photovoltaic.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Auto
CAD, PVsyst, and other electrical engineering software. - Fluency in English and French.
