Electrical Engineer | Data Center Construction

Location: Portugal - 10/4 Rotation

This leading contractor are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their expanding team on a Data Centre Project in Portugal.

Responsibilities

• Manage, review, and coordinate electrical design and construction drawings; resolve technical issues and drive solutions.
• Provide expert technical advice and guidance to subcontractors and site teams on all aspects of electrical engineering.
• Lead and prioritise tasks for the technical team, ensuring timely and efficient execution of works.
• Monitor subcontractor performance to ensure full compliance with project plans, schedules, and Health & Safety regulations.
• Proactively identify and resolve issues using established troubleshooting and
  - cause analysis techniques.
• Oversee document control processes, ensuring all logs, records, and technical documentation are maintained and updated.
• Prepare and coordinate test packs and handover documentation for electrical systems in line with commissioning and client requirements.

Requirements

• Relevant Electrical Qualification essential eg. Bachelor’s degree in engineering
• 5+ years experience in a similar role, within a mechanical and electrical contracting environment is essential
• Strong understanding of HSE requirements on
  - scale projects
• Data Centre experience is advantageous
