This leading contractor are seeking an Electrical Package Manager to join their expanding team in Portugal, A great opportunity to work for a market leading contractor with a fantastic reputation in the market who are experts in the delivery of mission critical projects.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the Electrical Systems package from design coordination to installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Oversee site safety in conjunction with the Project Manager and the Safety Advisor, including setup, management, and
  - out of the safety file as part of the management team.
• Promote and maintain a strong Quality, Health, Safety, culture within your team.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager, consulting engineers, and the client to manage the project schedule and ensure timely delivery.
• Manage all costs associated with the electrical package, including: Subcontractors, Material deliveries and goods receipting, Plant and equipment. Variations and valuations
• Oversee all

  - day site operations,
• Issue direct labour and subcontractor hours to the time administrator for central tracking.
• Attend site meetings, internal project reviews, engineering reviews, planning and coordination meetings, and handover meetings.
• Schedule material deliveries to align with the project programme and track all deliveries.
• Perform all other duties as required to successfully deliver the electrical package

Requirements

• Relevant Electrical Qualification essential eg. Masters or Bachelor’s degree in engineering
• Previous experience in Project Management and Proven record of coordinating and managing large scale installation projects
• Knowledge of Health & Safety
• Strong construction project experience
• Good technical knowledge of Electrical systems
