Responsibilities

• Keep generator, lighting, and electrical systems in working order;
• Diagnose problems and then repair/replace defective parts;
• Act quickly when a breakdown occurs, inform management whether the problem can be corrected and whether business can continue as usual;
• If regular activities must be stopped, estimate how long a shutdown will last;
• Make periodic inspection for new electrical services (220v and three phase), including wiring, pumps, conduit, panels, breakers, contractors, relays, timers and controls;
• Perform electrical maintenance and repair work; install/replace fixtures, switches, receptacles and wiring;
• Operate a variety of standard power tools, equipment and trenchers in electrical installations, maintenance and repair activities on a regular basis;
• Other duties and special projects as assigned.

What we are looking for

• Minimum 9th year of schooling;
• Minimum 5 years demonstrated electrical experience;
• Electrician qualification certificate;
• Proven work experience as a Maintenance Electrician;
• Familiarity with industrial electrical systems and the National Electrical Code;
• Good
  - solving skills.
