Electronics Engineer (m/f/d)

Siemens – Smart Infrastructure division focuses on smart grids and smart buildings, combining physical solutions and digitalization in electrification and automation. The division connects energy systems, buildings, and industries to improve efficiency and sustainability, and has its global headquarters in Switzerland with about 7, 400 colleagues.

Your mission will be…

• Development of electrical schematic design for the next generation of EV chargers.
• Use expertise to manage component selection to meet performance, quality and cost requirements.
• Collaborate as a key member of an international engineering team to ensure the product is developed
  - schedule and within budget while meeting all design and certification requirements.
• Work as a liaison with procurement throughout the order process from
  - entry to production.
• Work closely with the remote R&D team to ensure manufacturability of the product and support production during prototype builds,
  - specific builds, and design change implementation.
• Create documentation (schematics, wire diagrams, BOMs) to support all aspects of manufacturing / assembly of charging stations ensuring manufacturability.

We are looking for someone with…

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field with at least 4 years experience in product design and development.
• Knowledge of Schematics and PCB design tools.
• Detailed orientated and able to embrace a culture of quality while working in a dynamic and
  - paced environment.
• Strong English written and verbal skills.
• Ability to travel abroad if needed.
