Job Description

We are currently looking for an Embedded Cyber Security Engineer to join our team in the journey of practical cyber security and
- on assessments of various types of Io
T devices.

The range of tasks for this role includes full spectrum of security assessment activities starting from review of engineering and production documentation and up to development of hardware and software tools for assessment and demonstration.

We are performing security assessments of a wide range of devices, including:

1. Io
   T gateways and
   - protocol smart home controllers
2. IP cameras and security systems
3. Wireless Sensors
4. Smart TVs and Set-top boxes
5. Remote control units

Responsibilities:

1. Performing hardware, software, firmware and network security assessments and testing of devices, systems or their components
2. Analysis of PCB design, hardware and software components
3. Development of hardware and software tools for assessment and demonstration
4. Detailed documenting of assessment steps and results

Requirements:

1. 3+ years of professional, relevant experience
2. MS (preferred) or BS degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
3. Good C/C++ software development skills
4. Familiarity with modern processors architectures
5. Knowledge of cryptography fundamentals and public key infrastructure
6. Experience with
   - level software components, such as bootloader, kernel, device drivers
7. Experience with firmware development:
   - metal, RTOS, Linux
8. Experience with wired and wireless protocols analysis
9. Ability to independently perform assessment on a hardware/software product and efficiently communicate with other team members
10. Ability and willingness to acquire new knowledge and skills
11. Technical English

Will be a Plus:

1. Experience in hardware prototyping and soldering
2. Experience with wireless networks: Zigbee, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Z-Wave, etc.
3. Experience with hardware security techniques as Secure Boot, Trusted Execution Environment, Trusted Platform Modules, etc.
4. Experience with IDA Pro, Ghidra, Radare2, Binary Ninja
5. Experience with SAST and DAST tools
6. Python or any other scripting languages
7. Familiarity with
   - security frameworks and standards
8. Experience with web applications and services testing
9. Technical leadership experience
10. Unix-like systems administration
11. Experience working in a distributed team
12. Fluent English
