Job Description
Your contribution to something big:
Within Bosch Automotive Aftermarket, you will develop (embedded) software for our vehicle diagnostics solutions for international car manufacturers and independent workshops. For that you will:
- Design, develop, and maintain Linux-based embedded systems with a focus on Yocto and
- level development. - Lead
- level software development, including Linux drivers, BSP customization, and kernel optimization for embedded hardware platforms. - Collaborate closely with hardware and firmware teams to ensure smooth integration between hardware components and the operating system.
Your key responsibilities you be:
- Develop and maintain custom Linux kernels, device drivers, and board support packages.
- Develop and maintain Linux images for embedded systems using yocto.
- Debug kernel issues, performance bottlenecks, and hardware
- up problems. - Contribute to system architecture decisions and hardware/software interface definitions.
Qualifications
What distinguishes you:
Education:
Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or similar;
Experience:
5+ years of experience in embedded Linux system development.
Know-How:
Deep knowledge of embedded Linux architecture, including system initialization, drivers, and
- space integration.
Expertise in Linux kernel development, device driver design, and hardware
- up.
Solid understanding of hardware interfaces (SPI, I2C, UART, USB, Ethernet).
Strong C/C++ programming skills and debugging experience with GDB, perf, and kernel logs.
