We are seeking a Firmware Engineer to join our hybrid team in Lisbon, Portugal, working on RISC-V based embedded platforms for Io
T and smart device applications. The ideal candidate has strong firmware experience and knowledge of RISC-V architecture and embedded communication protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, optimize, and maintain
  - level firmware for RISC-V-based microcontrollers and So
  Cs.
• Collaborate with hardware design and software teams to integrate and validate embedded firmware.
• Implement device drivers, bootloaders, and communication stacks (e. G. , SPI, I2C, UART).
• Conduct debugging, profiling, and performance tuning on embedded hardware platforms.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation for firmware releases.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in embedded firmware development.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and strong understanding of RISC-V or similar microcontroller architectures.
• Experience with embedded debugging tools (JTAG, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers).
• Knowledge of RTOS and
  - metal programming.
• Familiarity with communication protocols (SPI, UART, I2C, CAN).

Bonus:

• Experience with Io
  T protocols (MQTT, BLE).
• Knowledge of security principles in embedded firmware.
