What You'll Do
WHAT YOU’LL DO
The role of the EMESA Recruiting Manager - Nexus Lisbon Operations is to drive high quality end to end recruiting operations for EMESA recruiting. You will partner closely with the EMESA Recruiting Projects Senior Manager and recruiting teams across the region to ensure a seamless recruiting experience for candidates, recruiters and consultants.
You are a people person and will manage, coach and develop a team of talent acquisition operations professionals to support the operational needs of the organization. You will continually identify areas of improvements in our processes and systems as we scale.
Some travelling will be required as part of this role in relation to partnerships with TA teams across EMESA and colocation with outside hub team members.
YOU’RE GOOD AT
Cultivating and managing key relationships, working closely with teams to define support needs, determine priorities based on business need, address key questions and concerns, and partner as an extension of the supported teams
Leading the shared service hub team that supports EH TA teams across EMESA, with members based at Lisbon LCC and offices outside the hub
Screening, hiring and training of new talent acquisition operations team members
Building and strengthening relationships between the Lisbon and outside hub members, ensuring clear communication and smooth collaboration across team members in both locations
Developing a team of talent acquisition operations professionals, managing their workload and quality checking their performance
Assisting the recruiting operations team in prioritizing requests, meeting deadlines, quality checking key work, addressing out of scope requests, and managing project work
Managing all requests within appropriate timeframes by coordinating completion of requests by due date with assistants
Designing and writing detailed training materials
Advising regional recruitment leadership on onboarding new recruitment teams. Perform review workshops with new teams and adapting processes accordingly
Mapping out process workflows for onboarding new EH TA teams in the region and identifying opportunities for process improvement and alignment with existing partnerships
Researching and recommending potential tools to increase efficiency and improve candidate experience, providing input into recruiting system enhancements
Supporting other office initiatives, such as affiliation and engagement
Completing critical operation processes including entering and maintaining accurate candidate data in our database, providing end to end application management support, scheduling interviews, preparing interview materials, and onsite support on interview days
Ensure efficient data recompilation by all team members
Assisting with special projects and analysis as needed
What You'll Bring
YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
Bachelor’s degree required
Min. 5 years of experience in areas of the People function (recruiting, HR, L&D, Talent Management etc. ) required
Team management experience preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, positive personal and professional image, high standards of professional behavior and ethics
Demonstrated leadership ability; works well as team player
Excellent oral and written communication skills; able to effectively persuade, influence, and negotiate
Comfortable in resolving conflict and
- related issues
Strong organizational skills with strong attention to detail, accuracy and thoroughness
Analytical proficiency; facility with numbers
Ability to set and balance competing priorities, plan workflow and take initiative
Ability to work effectively with all cohort levels and work well under pressure
Ability to perform successfully in a
- paced, intellectually intense,
- oriented environment and to interpret rules and guidelines flexibly to enhance the business and in keeping with BCG’s values and culture
Business proficient English
Advanced computer skills: MS Power Point, Excel required
Recruiting platforms familiarity (Eightfold, i CIMS) preferred
