What You’ll Do
- As the EMESA Tax Manager, you will be a key member of the EMESA Tax Team. You will be responsible to lead and/or assist the Senior Tax Director on a number of tax topics that includes:
- Assisting in managing tax and compliance issues for the EMESA region including:
- Providing
-
- day tax advice and support to the country finance teams - Providing tax support on contracting issues
- Tax audit support
- Support local controllers with understanding global policies and other transfer pricing documentation/ issues
- US GAAP reporting
- Overall risk management in a variety of corporate and individual tax areas
- Work on appropriate cash management/ funding strategies
- Providing
- Working with the Global Tax Mobility team and local Finance to identify and monitor individual and corporate permanent establishment risks for all countries. Support
- border client contracting questions - Cross EMESA initiatives to improve visibility on tax issues and optimize ways of working.
- Working with
- functional teams regarding initial due diligence for new office openings - Ongoing maintenance of the current legal entity structure within the region.
- Working on preparation/review of
- end provisions and compliance with local tax reporting requirements. - Work closely with other members of the tax team, peers within Global Accounting and Control, and external advisors. Ad hoc projects.
- Strong organisational skills, ability to
- task - Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience to deal with multiple stakeholders
- Proven strong accounting and outstanding analytical skills
- Flexibility to work independently and to collaborate with team members
- Able to work in a
- paced, dynamic
- growth environment - Ability to identify issues and to solve problems and finding ways to get things done better
- 6-10 years of relevant tax and accounting work experience with increasing responsibilities
- CTA/ACA/CPA
- Prior experience with handling tax issues
- Excellent computer skills with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Excel and Power
Point - Strong organizational skills, communication skills and orientation to detail

Who You’ll Work With
Global Tax is part of the wider Finance function. This role reports to the Senior Tax Director who is based in London and will be a part of the 30+ person broader tax team. BCG operates a flexible organizational structure, such that different people depending upon a specific project or operational area will evaluate the individual. However, goal setting and annual reviews will be administered by the Senior Tax Director.
