AZ Lisbon is seeking a Cleaning Staff member to join the Pre-Opening team. The hotel is planned to open in the last quarter of 2025 and will be the newest luxury lifestyle hotel in Lisbon, marking Hyatt's continued growth in Southern Europe and the first Managed Hotel of the brand in Portugal.

The Empregada/o de Limpeza is responsible for cleaning and tidying guest rooms or common areas, ensuring spaces reflect the high standard of comfort, cleanliness, and aesthetic expected of a luxury lifestyle hotel. In addition to impeccable cleaning, the role requires discretion, respect for guest privacy, and attention to detail that enhances the guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Clean and tidy guest rooms, suites, or common areas following the hotel’s strict hygiene and presentation standards.
• Change bed linens, towels, and other items according to guest requests and hotel policies.
• Restock amenities, minibar, and courtesy items with care and attention.
• Check equipment, furniture, and facilities; report any maintenance needs.
• Respond to guest cleaning and tidying requests promptly and courteously.
• Respect guest privacy and belongings, maintaining total discretion during service.
• Keep the cleaning cart organized and stocked with appropriate and approved products.
• Collaborate with housekeeping supervisors to ensure an efficient routine and consistent quality.
• Follow safety and health regulations, especially in handling cleaning products.
• Participate in training and refresher courses on service and internal procedures.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Completed primary education.
• Previous experience in luxury hospitality or similar segment is a plus.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle cleaning products and equipment.
• Professional demeanor, discretion, and good interpersonal skills.
• Availability to work shifts and weekends as per schedule.
• Basic English skills are valued.
