Andaz Lisbon will be the newest luxury “lifestyle” hotel in the Portuguese capital, marking the brand Hyatt’s expansion in southern Europe and being the first hotel directly managed by the brand in the region.

Summary

We are looking for a professional to join our Room Service team on the overnight shift, ensuring exclusive and personalized service to our guests during the night.

Responsibilities

• Execute the opening and closing operations of the overnight shift, ensuring the preparation and organization of the Room Service.
• Attend to guests’ meal and beverage requests, providing fast, courteous service in line with brand standards.
• Take orders while handling dietary intolerances and allergies.
• Greet guests professionally and warmly, ensuring a personalized experience.
• Ensure all materials and equipment are in perfect condition before and after service.
• Monitor the guest experience during service, anticipating needs and resolving problems efficiently.
• Answer telephone calls following proper etiquette and clear, professional language.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures, including food safety and hygiene standards.
• Maintain confidentiality of guest information and protect company assets.
• Collaborate with other teams (Reception, Kitchen, Housekeeping) to ensure integrated and efficient service.
• Adhere to quality and personal presentation standards required by the brand.
• Transport trays securely.
• Execute Room Service operations, including trolley transport.
• Use POS/MICROS systems or tablets.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication and professional demeanor.
• Available to work shifts, especially overnight.
• Strong customer orientation and ability to personalize service.
• Agility, attention to detail, and ability to work autonomously during the overnight shift.
• Previous experience in Room Service or F&B in luxury hotels/restaurants highly valued.
• Basic wine and culinary knowledge is a plus.
• Fluency in English (mandatory); additional languages such as Spanish or French valued.
• Ability to manage pressure situations while maintaining courtesy.
• Technical training or courses in hospitality/culinary are a plus.
