Job Opportunity: Energy Trader at GEM Platform

The Market Access area of GEM Platform is seeking to recruit an Energy Trader.

Responsibilities:

• Execute purchases and sales of energy, fuel, and CO2 financial products in organized markets and OTC, supporting proprietary trading and hedging strategies.
• Adapt quickly to market volatility, regulatory changes, and shifts in traded product mixes.
• Manage relationships with counterparties.
• Analyze reports and presentations related to commodities markets and area trends.
• Develop and refine trading procedures and support tools.

Employment Type: Full-Time

Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Management, Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics.
• Up to 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Knowledge of commodities markets; familiarity with EDP-traded products is a plus.
• Understanding of financial markets, especially commodities, and available assets.
• Ability to adapt to
  - changing environments.
• Sense of urgency and ability to prioritize.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with
  - solving abilities.
• Fluent in English; Spanish skills are valued.
