Senior Automation Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Automation Engineer to join our Infra Cloud Squad. In this role, you will focus on automating the provisioning and configuration of Azure cloud infrastructure, primarily to support Microsoft Fabric components and their related environments. You will be instrumental in building scalable, secure, and efficient cloud solutions for
- driven platforms.

The team’s mission is to ensure the architecture validation and operational excellence of cloud infrastructure supporting Microsoft Fabric workloads.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement Infrastructure as Code (Ia
  C) solutions for deploying Azure resources supporting Microsoft Fabric (e. g. , Data Factory, Synapse, Power BI, Lakehouse).
• Collaborate with architects and data engineers to define and validate infrastructure requirements.
• Develop and maintain reusable automation templates using Terraform, and manage deployments with Env0.
• Ensure compliance with security, governance, and cost optimization standards.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and manage work items in Jira.
• Document infrastructure designs, automation processes, and operational procedures.
• Support the team in architecture validation and infrastructure analysis.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience automating Azure infrastructure for data or analytics platforms.
• Strong proficiency with Terraform for Ia
  C and deployment orchestration.
• Solid scripting skills in Power
  Shell and/or Python.
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools (Azure Dev
  Ops, Git
  Hub Actions).
• Deep understanding of Microsoft Fabric architecture and its dependencies.
• Familiarity with Azure networking, identity, monitoring, and security.
• Experience working in Agile environments using Jira.
• Strong communication and documentation abilities.
• AZ‑900 Certification is required.
• Experience with Ansible for configuration management is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft certifications such as AZ‑104, AZ‑305, or DP‑600.
• Experience with monitoring and alerting automation (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics).
• Exposure to Data
  Ops or Dev
  Ops for data platforms.
• Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is a plus.
