Allied Command Transformation (ACT) is NATO’s leading agent for change: driving, facilitating, and advocating the continuous improvement of Alliance capabilities to maintain and enhance the military relevance and effectiveness of the Alliance. We are looking for a passionate Full-stack engineer who will provide remote support to ACT’s digital modernization initiatives, focusing on the design, development, testing, deployment, and sustainment of secure, containerized applications. The work will align with our client’s Digital Transformation Implementation Strategy and Data Exploitation Implementation Plan, contributing to the Warfare Development Agenda through interoperable software solutions and APIs that integrate with existing platforms. Close collaboration with the stakeholders, including SHAPE, JWC, and JFTC, will ensure outputs meet our client’s requirements while supporting agile delivery, CI/CD, and cybersecurity standards. Developers must remain flexible and able to rapidly learn new technologies to advance the digital transformation goals. Responsibilities:
- Build containerized application tools following the 12-Factor App methodology, Test Driven Development (TDD), and Extreme Programming (XP). - Develop products as part of a balanced agile team (Product Manager, Product Owner, UI/UX Designer, and Data Scientists as applicable). - Design and implement REST APIs and microservices architecture. - Develop
- stack solutions using modern Java
Script, Python, and/or Java frameworks. - - Perform
- end development (e. G. , React, Angular). - Perform
- end development (e. G. , Node. Js, Django/Flask, Spring
Boot). - Conduct database design and programming (e. G. , My
SQL, Postgre
SQL, Mongo
DB). - Deploy containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, or Open
Shift. - Work in a collaborative, pair programming environment as needed. - Rapidly learn and apply new programming languages, frameworks, and tools. - Support the creation of sustainable Dev

- Minimum 4 years of experience in
- stack development using Java
Script, Python, or Java. - Minimum 4 years of experience in
- end development (React, Angular, etc. ) and/or

Boot, etc. ). - Minimum 4 years of experience in database design/programming (My
